The holidays are just around the corner! What a busy time for us (and everyone in general!) Tim & I have already started discussing what we will be doing for they day... or rather in what order... We have my mom's house, his mom's house and his dad's house. My mom's Thanksgiving time never varies, it's always at noon, now we have to figure out what time we will be doing the other festivities. Luckily, and for the first time ever I will be off on Thanksgiving day and the day after! I have never been off the day after so I am rather excited. =) We may do some Christmas shopping, but who knows... all the crazy people are out that day. =) Then the following Saturday is the 3rd annual Friendsgiving at the Collier Residence. We will probably go to that, but we have already made plans to go to the "Paws & Pucks" Rampage game. "Paws & Pucks" is the San Antonio's hockey game where you can take your dog. Very cute. =) Scotch would be too afraid of all the people (well not tons, but people he doesn't know rather) to take him, so we will be taking Peanut with us. I think it'll be fun. And as always Tim & I are both looking forward to Christmas time! I already know what I want to get Tim, but it's a toss up between two things & I simply cannot decide!!!
Our "Kids" aka the dogs have their annual exam on November 4, 2009 with Dr. Susie...it is always a chore to take them... they are pretty hard to control. Hopefully either Tim or my mother will come with me to lighten the load! Peanut takes shots like a champ, but Scotch is very weary of the Vet's office.
We are still contemplating getting me another car... I want an SUV again. However, we are waiting to see how the oil field does and see if Tim hears any good news soon. He is still on workers comp & hopefully after that is over he will be able to return to work. We will find out soon hopefully. In the mean time he is working part time at the wash to keep busy - that's a plus. I will admit though, I like coming home and dinner is done. That is fabulous. =)
I will also be registering soon for Spring Classes... haven't gotten myself motivated to go downtown and meet with my advisor - but I will! I really am trying to figure out what one class I want to start with in January. I really need to get algebra out of the way but I STILL HATE MATH! Maybe I'll do humanities instead... either way Spring classes start second week of January I believe so we will see what I wind up choosing!
