Here we are...twenty days away! All the RSVPs were due on Friday, August 14th, but as always with RSVPs you never get them on time - if you even get them! So, I made a few phone calls, sent a few emails and messages and now I'm up a few RSVPs. We are at 135 attending, 29 not attending...still about 96 short, but I'm still planning for 150 guests.
Tim and I will be going to get our marriage license this Thursday, August 20th! We will be doing that in Kendall County, then heading to the ranch for a last minute meeting with Amanda. We will finalize the processional, the songs, and seating I believe and go over last minute details.
Since our minister told us he could no longer perform the ceremony we are up in the air with that. . . Hopefully our good friend Becky can ask one of her cousins (they are ordained ministers) to fill in. Hopefully that pans out - we are down to the wire.
I'm looking forward to seeing my bridal portraits (I bet Tim is too!) They were taken by Melissa Weltner on August 6th at the Ranch, I'm anxiously awating the email to see them!
Another positive - our Tupperware gifts came in! Laura threw me a fabulous shower at the end of July and the gifts arrived on Friday! We already have everything put away and started using some of the new stuff! Now I can write the thank you cards!
