So there is always a lot going on in our world... and I mean a lot, and Strick isn't even old enough to have extra curricular activities yet!!! I am feeling a bit beaten down these past few days so I just wanted to share...
Tim is gone for two weeks in a row, fourteen days that he works 12 - 16 hours daily, that is ROUGH! And he does physical labor - like more than I do in a month he probably does in that fourteen days! I work 8:30-5:30 Monday through Friday... however due to being short handed I'm having to work some additional late nights, which are 10-7. NOT Fun. When this happens my mom picks up Strick from daycare and I have to drive to Walzem/35 area to go get him after I get off...then have to haul it home to give him a bath and to bed between 8-830. I am fortunate enough that she feeds him dinner for me so I don't have that on my plate when I get off.
On top of my full time work schedule I've started school again... and I'm only taking 6 hours. But I have a three hour composition class and a three hour HR class. LOTS of reading and writing papers. This is REAL hard to keep up with. I get up between 5:30-6 daily and get Strick up at 7 to be at work at 7:45 so I can get in a twenty minute run, then start my day, study during lunch hour, and after work get Strick from daycare, make dinner, put him to bed at 8 and stay up till 930 to study. I think this schedule is finally wearing me out. I so wish I could work 25ish hours a week and have two days off during the week to dedicate towards studying! Yes, we'd have less money, but I'd get so much more done and probably have an easier time maintaining my grades. This is something I think Tim and I are going to have to discuss in the near future. We have already agreed that my last year of college I will be home, but we are also putting Strick in school and having another baby around that time. Very very time consuming all around.
Ok, it is almost 6:30, I haven't accomplished much today... uh oh! Need to get going!

Mid Month Post!
February was off to a great start, kinda sorta...
Tim's birthday was great! FPU has started and is going well! LOVE being able to bless people through this financial ministry! We have about eleven more weeks to go and it'll be tough for some folks, but a lesson definitely worth sticking too!
The truck has been having some issues... yay... we cannot figure out why it won't start sometimes. We have been having this issue on and off for the past few months...comes and goes. We have taken it to a few different places and no one can figure out what is going on. Of course, it starts up fine when the tow truck arrives or at the mechanic - GRRR!!!! We just replaced a part that we thought might be the problem, but it didn't start up again when Tim was leaving for work, very frustrating! Hopefully this gets resolved and soon! It is driving us nuts!
I have been doing really well actually GOING to the gym (follow that blog - Belly Bustin' Busby), I went three days last week for twenty minutes before work. Going today at lunch time!
I also have another dental appointment today, eek. I think I'm getting another filling. I have reschedule my two initial ortho appointments with Dr Layfield (The Braces guy!) for April so Dr. Perry can finish doing his work before I move forward with braces... eek!
De's baby shower is coming up & I'm excited! Just about two weeks left! Decorations should be in next week, STOKED! Animal print / Safari theme! FUN!!!

Feb 2012
Here we are in February 2012! Tim's 30th birthday was on the first! He was semi-home for his birthday! He actually worked until 6am then made the five hour trip home. I'm glad he was able to be home for this birthday. We celebrated with some good friends a family at Dave & Buster's on Saturday. I got him a Texas Ranger cake - which I think turned out pretty "cute" for a guy birthday cake!
All in all a good day! I'll have to top this when he is either 35 or 40 ;) I'll ask him what he wants to do next year :) I thought this was a good plan for this year.
My birthday is just around the corner and I'm not sure what we are doing if anything. Then it's going to be time to plan Strick's birthday party! If we do outdoor, I think I'm shooting for after nap time, maybe a 4-7??? And do dinner, or 10-12am before the crowd hits, LOL. Not sure yet!
FPU has been pushed back to start this weekend, scheduling worked out better for everyone to start on the 12th and not the 5th. I was glad, got some time to clean and catch up on homework! Definitely much needed semi-day off!
Sunday, on the way home from church Tim and I decided that I will be getting braces (officially decided) this summer, eek! We are thinking May or June, maybe after Strick's birthday party?? We need to start soon though. I have a few more appointments with Dr Perry and my two appointments with the orthodontist are being moved to April (they were for January). Based on my consultant it will be 21-24 month treatment time, so just in time for us to have another kiddo, and finish school, ect! Yes - I have a timeline/frame for everything!
We also decided to start looking at getting me another vehicle soon - and by soon maybe Christmas ;) Since we believe in saving and paying cash we will be saving! We agreed we can use my photography income and jewelry income to save as well as what we are saving for it too. We are looking to get me a vehicle that I can drive to 250k before we upgrade again ;)
School is going well - harder than I anticipated - but well! So far I'm maintaining the "A" but pretty tough to do!
We will be moving soonish - not sure on a date yet, but soon. I am pretty excited because Tim said we could buy a nice couch!!! Our last two couches were hand me downs and we handed them done too after we moved. I'm so excited that we will actually get to pick one out, Tim will try and "negotiate" and we'll finally get something we like!!! Tim also said we could make Strick a playroom :) YAY! Little things I'm am excited about.
We have our first fellowship of the semester this Friday and we very excited! We had a few new couples sign up also, I have a fun "get to know you game" we are going to try, should be a good time! We also have our church Valentine's dinner on Saturday, we are eating steak and watching Courageous! Tim and I have been wanting to see it so we are excited! Good food, Good Friends! Who-hoo!!!
That's all for now!
